Interior design in automobiles today is widely utilizing static RGB lighting elements. This enables the user to set the car’s interior illumination to a certain color scheme. With increasing importance of interior design for differentiation and human centricity, this full color lighting will be taken to the next level: dynamic RGB. Resulting, the colors and light points will react to the user and the environment and change accordingly.
In this webinar, Michael Brandl from ams Osram presents a new RGB LED with an IC included which eases color homogeneity and enables fast dynamic effects in various locations around the car even with a high number of LEDs. The webinar also introduces the design and system benefits of the LED with Open System Protocol as well as the advantages this LED brings for IMSE® processing, as it is in qualification by TactoTek® for this process at the moment.
