Expanding Our Presence in Munich: Fostering Collaboration in IMSE Technology

At TactoTek, we're committed to advancing the development and adoption of Injection Molded Structural Electronics (IMSE) technology in serial automotive applications. To be closer to our ecosystem partners and to better support their innovation efforts, we proudly opened our new office in Munich at the end of February. This strategic move allows us to strengthen collaborations with OEMs, Tiers, and engineering partners through a more hands-on, immersive approach.

Our Munich office features a state-of-the-art showroom where visitors can explore our IMSE demonstrators in realistic lighting conditions. This high-class experience is designed to spark creativity among designers and engineers, offering them a tangible vision of what IMSE technology can achieve. The showroom is complemented by our co-creation space, an adaptable, open area equipped with whiteboards, cozy chill zones, and, of course, excellent coffee. This environment is perfect for brainstorming, collaboration, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Since our opening, we've hosted several successful workshops with leading automotive OEMs, Tiers and engineering partners. These interactions not only help in refining our IMSE solutions but also provide invaluable feedback that drives our mission forward. At TactoTek, we focus on developing IMSE technology and supporting our partners, rather than becoming hardware manufacturers ourselves. This approach ensures that we remain agile and responsive to the evolving needs of our licensing partner ecosystem.

Our presence in Munich has already made an impact. We exhibited at Bayern Innovativ Tech Days, and our office’s grand opening event was a tremendous success, drawing in many of our key partners. Looking ahead, we plan to host more events at our Munich location, further solidifying our role as a hub of innovation in the automotive industry.

We’re excited about the future and the possibilities that lie ahead as we continue to work closely with our partners to bring IMSE technology into the mainstream.
